หัวเรื่อง:ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประสิทธิภาพในการเข้าทำลายไข่ไส้เดือนฝอยรากปม และกิจกรรมเอนไซม์ของเชื้อรา Paecilomyces and lilacinus ผู้เขียน:นายสืบสิน สนธิรัตน, ศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractDetermination of the infection efficiency of Paecilomyces lilacinus and level of 5 enzyme activities during growth period of 4 high-infection isolates (100% infection). i.e., solate no. AK 3-09, AK 6-03 NK 1-14 and NK 1-15 and one low-infection isolate (66% infection), i.e., isolate NK 1-12 were assayed and compared with a saprophytic fungus, Penicillium turbatum (UN- 3-05). Chitinase could be detected in all isolates of P. lilacinus but not in Penicillium turbatum. There was no difference in chitinase activity between the high-infection isolates and the low-infection isolate but chitobiase activity of low-infection isolate was 3.3-4.0 times higher than that of high-infection isolates. Protease and glucoamylase activities of the high-infection isolates were 1.2-4.2 and 20-120 times higher than that of the low-infection isolate, respectively. |
ที่มา:KASETSART UNIVERSITY FISHERIES RESEARCH BULLETINหัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : SYSTEMATIC STUDIES OF CORAL REEF FISHES FROM THE INDIAN OCEAN, PHUKET (THAILAND) ) ผู้เขียน:Supap Monkolprasit, สืบสิน สนธิรัตน สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractAn investigation of coral reef-fish fauna was performed from December 1976 to January 1978, around Phuket and several small offshore islands in the Indian ocean. Simple fishing methods were applied in the water less than 10 meters deep at mean tide. There were 230 species of 93 genera found in these locations. Collections included 36 families, most of which inhabited coral heads and crevices of the rocky bottom. The fauna, however, was composed of both resident and non-resident forms. The most common residents were from the families: Pomacentridae, Chaetodontidae, Labridae, Serranidae, Acanthuridae and Lutianidae. A complete collection of all the species inhabited the areas investigated was not possible, because of collecting and identification difficulties. |

หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Occurrence of Entomopathogenic Nematodes in Thailand) ผู้เขียน:Nuchanart Tangchitsomkid, นายสืบสิน สนธิรัตน, ศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractA soil survey of indigenous strains of entomopathogenic nematode was conducted in 42 provinces of Thailand between June 1996 to March 1998. A total of 306 soil samples were extracted using Galleria baiting technique. The nematodes were recovered from 9 out of 42 locations (21.4 %). The identification using morphological characteristics of infective-stage juveniles and adults revealed 8 isolates of Steinernematidae : Steinernema sp. and 1 isolate of Heterorhabditidae : Heterorhabditis sp. The nematodes were collected from central plains at the temperature range of 24-27?C (10-15 cm deep from soil surface) and 29-37?C (at soil surface) and they were heat-tolerant isolates from Thailand. |

หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Four New Species of the freshwater Fishes form Thailand) ผู้เขียน:สืบสิน สนธิรัตน สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe four new species of the freshwater fishes from Thailand in this article are classified into two major groups. The first one comprises of the two new species of Thai fresh water bars belongs to the genus Cyclocheilichthys which is one of the perplexing cyprinine fishes, they are C. furcatus and C. lagleri. The first species in described from the fish of the Mekong River while the second one of the Chao Phya River. Cyclocheilichthys furcatus has two pairs of well-developed barbells; circumpeduncular scales 16; circumferential scales 11/2/11; total number of vertebrae 34; total number of gill rakers 12-14; lateral-line scales 33 or 34, with multifid tubes in adults. The second species, C. laglari, has no barbell; circumpedun-cular scales usually 20; circumferential scales 12/2/15; total number of vertebrae 35 (rarely 36); total number of gill rakers 8-12; lateral-line scales 34-36, always with simple tubes. The second group is two new species of Tetraodon; T. baileyi and T. suvattii, they were found only in the Mekong River. The first species lacks of neither spines nor spinules, but the body covers with several finger-like tentacles on the upper part of head and other parts of the body. The second species has spinules and the head is flattened, its snout is rather long and sides of head with one oblique line from below eyes downward not beyond head area and one or two obscure lines. |
หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Notes on Tetraodon somphongsi Klausewitz, 1957 a Puffer Fish from Thailand (Pisces, Tetreaodontidae)) ผู้เขียน:Supap Monkolprasit, สืบสิน สนธิรัตน, นายประจิตร วงศ์รัตน์, อาจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractA Red-eyes Puffer (Tetraodon somphongsi Klausewitz) is not commonly found fish. It was identified and given the specific name by Dr. von W. Klausewitz to honor the late MR.Somphongs Lekaree, had exported aqusrium fishes from Thailand to Germany. The local name of this aquarium fish in Thai is “Pla Pak-pao Ta-dang”. The diagnostic characters and the details of this species are given in this paper. |
